Argo opened at Jordan Commons on Friday and I had a great experience of meeting Tony Mendez, the CIA agent that the story line follows. He is a true American hero that was not able to celebrate his successes until 20 plus years later. I was very touched to be able to meet him and his wife Jonna who was also a Master of Disguise in the CIA. I would love to hear some of her stories.
Mr. Rodney and I have been spouses for thirty three years now. My goal is to make it to at least 50 (both living) which is closer than ever. So far so good....
We celebrated by taking a couple of days and just be together in Vega. Most people when they go to Vegas will travel through various casinos and play the slots. We travel through various Costcos to see what they have. We also found tasty Rib Fest in Henderson. But our real reason to be in Vegas was for a Peter Gabriel concert. He is at the top of my "if ever..." concert list. He was amazing!!!! I loved every minute of it.
I pulled this video from youtube. We didnt sit this close.
YES CHEF!!! We trid out the new Gordan Ramsey Steak for our anniversary dinner before the concert. Rod had this amazing fish. Check out the purple blobs of cauliflower puree on the plate. They turned bright pink when you squeeze lemon on them.
The Commercial Costco in Vegas off of I-15 on Martin Luther is incredible. Where else would you see a whole lamb in the freezer department?

The house is quiet,
The kids are gone
They all have other places to live
and now Rod & I become 2 + infinity.
What fun this is to only have each other to blame when we are looking for the remote. Or what to have for dinner. Or how late to sleep in...... until
we hear the pitter patter, squeak squeak of James & Chanel's little shoes.
So, now we are trying something new-- a blog-- to share our lives with our friends and family who are near and far. So if you want to join in the fun, feel free to add a comment or two.
