Who loves Oogieloves?

See the bright florescent colors under the big fish?  These are a few of my grandkids dancing in front of the movie theatre at the Oogieloves movie.  It is a G rated interactive movie from made by the Telly Tubies and Thomas the Train group.  The kids were given a fun glow stick butterfly and were cued at different times on screen to do various activities.  They seemed to really love it-- everyone from Emerson to Saidie Babie.   I can also tell you that the adults weren't too thrilled.  But it is fun that there is a fun kids movie.

Invasion of the preschoolers!!

with Lottie bug and Ikky around we are being swarmed with an infestation of preschoolers!  Toys are everywhere and ants are praying on the crumbs.....  They move in swarms from the basement theatre room to the upstairs bunk bed fortress to Princess Chloe's magic castle swing set.  Here they are swarming JR & Kristi's.
And we are loving every minute of it!!
I think someone needs a dog.......

Pioneer Children sang as they walked and walked and walked.....

David & Theresa Coombs Gravesite in Logan, Ut

Every year on July my heart turns toward my ancestors.  This year Rod and I were called to be the "Ward Trek Cooks' (yes chef!!) at Martins Cove at the end of June.  Even though we didnt push a handcart we join the group as they walked into the Cove.  It is so very sacred.  And just thinking about the dedication and sacrifice of the early pioneers.  It is just amazing.  The other day I found this web site that links brief histories of some of the prominent early pioneers in Utah.  Not all of my 16 pioneer ancestors are here but some of them are.
